New Halloween pinup by Bombshell PinUp Photography in Bombshell Magazine!

I was very happy to discover that my Black Widow-themed images by Liz of Bombshell PinUp Photography are not only in the Halloween issue of Bombshell Magazine, but on a cover, too!

I wanted a retro-spiderweb theme, kind of like the set on the old Vampira show, and Liz totally delivered. She made the bib necklace and the belt, and supplied the dress, hairflowers, earrings, and some of the rings, too. Makeup was by the fabulous-as-always Beauty By Samantha White and hair was by the superb NM Beautybar.

Fall’s coming – it’s Pantone time!

It’s almost autumn, which means it’s PANTONE TIME! The Fall, 2014 women’s Pantone palette is nice and colorful.

There’s only one brown, and it’s not bad – Cognac, which would make a nice silk evening gown or scarf. Radiant Orchid is a rich pink-purple that reminds me of summer, and Sangria is a hot cranberry tone that says fall without getting all tweedy. Two strong blues, Misted Yellow, and Aurora Red keep things from feeling too chilly. Primary colors are chic and seasonless!
