Etsy vintage is kinda dangerous. There’s always something awesome lurking. Recently, I bought a pretty late-1950s or early-1960s pink dress with white polka-dots from one of my favorite sellers, Traven7, and a beautiful Rite-Fit Lurex evening dress with a taffeta circle skirt from Amanda at Butch Wax Vintage.
I’ve been into confetti lucite jewelry lately, too, so to finish off the pink dress I bought some fine pink vintage jewelry, too!
The dress itself is fun. The bubblegum color is one I never thought I could pull off, but it works. The skirt is A-line with cute buttons down either side! It also has fancy French cuffs and pockets.
The black evening dress is gorgeous. I have another Lurex and taffeta dress by Rite-Fit, but this one is longer and more lustrous. I matched it up with a Deadly Dames belt and my black patent Louboutin Piou-Piou pumps and threw it on over my Malco Modes petticoat.
